Rhythm Abroad Takes the Win!
(Los Angeles) Jan. 21, 2015 – Rhythm Abroad with Brittany Pierce wins Breakout Storyteller of the Year at the 6th annual Taste Awards in addition to being nominated for Best Travel Program and Best Theme Music.
Brittany Pierce attended the red carpet event held in Hollywood, CA at the Egyptian Theater alongside other lifestyle television celebrities. Rhythm Abroad’s win and nominations are additions to an already great first season. “The viewer feedback from Rhythm Abroad’s first season has been overwhelmingly positive,” says Pierce. “To also be recognized by a number of leading industry professionals is icing on the cake.”
Pierce thanked a number of people in her acceptance speech including Rhythm Abroad’s production team, KQED, APT, public television stations, Baggallini, and viewers. “Without the support of so many, Rhythm Abroad would not be possible. So the win is not just for myself and the production team, but for all who are involved in making the show a success,” says Pierce.
Season 1 of Rhythm Abroad is underwritten by Baggallini, presented by KQED, and nationally distributed by APT.
