Brittany Pierce – Host & Executive Producer
Brittany Pierce began her television career 15 years ago working as a child actor. But it was in college where she grew an interest in producing and reporting enterprising stories. After graduating California State University, Northridge she landed a job with Channel 4 San Diego, owned and operated by San Diego’s largest cable provider, Cox Communications. There, she reported and produced human interest and sports stories and an academic game show for high school students. But her true passion however, is travel.
Brittany had her first taste of international travel in 2006 just after graduating college and has been on the road ever since. Brittany’s interest in world cultures and the arts have taken her everywhere from the lush jungles of Central America to the beautiful rice paddies of Southeast Asia.
Now, an award-winning independent producer, she has married her love of travel and television and is ready to share with you the best of the world’s cultures through dance and music on Rhythm Abroad.

Paul Gonzales – Location Audio Mixer
Paul Gonzales attended Citrus College’s Recording Arts Program with the original intention to learn to record music. However, during his studies he was introduced to the boom pole, and never looked back.
Paul has done everything from documentaries, to reality shows, to feature films. Through sound production, Paul has been able to stick close to his musical passion by working with many of the legendary musicians he grew up listening to, as well as being able to develop new passions such as travel while working on Rhythm Abroad.
Some may not like the idea of never knowing when or where work will be coming from next, but for a musician with a short attention span, Paul wouldn’t have it any other way.
Ken Mazur – Composer
Ken Mazur is a platinum selling musician whose career spans over four decades and includes work with musical greats such as Robert Palmer, Tina Tuner, Marvin Gaye, The O’Jays, Musique, and many more. On top of running Rooftop Productions in NYC and producing many upcoming artists he has also produced music for major clients such as Chevrolet Trucks, Nintendo, and McDonalds. Ken has composed music for television for a wide array of clients including VH1’s “Behind The Music”, Discovery Channel’s “Biker Build Off”, and PBS’s multiple Emmy Award winning “Travlescope.”
It is a true pleasure to be working on Rhythm Abroad with Brittany Pierce. As a former anthropologist, I find this kind of quality TV to have real value.
